Council Bluffs Interstate System Improvements

Getting around

During construction of the CBIS improvements project, alternate routes to get to your final destination may be quicker and help reduce congestion through construction areas. This page includes maps of alternate routes to get to various Council Bluffs locations during construction.

24th Street bridge construction

At least one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction on 24th Street during all phases of construction. To avoid this work, use the alternate routes to nearby Council Bluffs attractions.
