Segment 4 - Concept 1
Key Features of Concept 1:
- three lanes in each direction on I-29 south of the I-29/I-480/West Broadway system interchange;
- two lanes in each direction on I-29 north of the I-29/I-480/West Broadway system interchange;
- auxiliary exit only lanes as needed on I-29;
- 35th Street interchange would be closed;
- Avenue G interchange would be reconstructed as a “split-diamond” and would provide one-way frontage roads between Avenue G and Ninth Avenue with access to West Broadway; and
- 41st Street interchange would be relocated to 40th Street.
